About Corey

Corey's introduction to a career in photography came from being photographed as a skier while living in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Ski modeling with several top photographers allowed Corey to be highly involved in the creative process and he soon discovered that capturing the images was his calling. In his early years of photography Corey worked with a mentor/photographer who really helped craft his passion into a career and with lots of patience, creativity and film he eventually learned that the business of photography would be his greatest asset. "Good photography doesn't sell itself!"

His enthusiasm and practice led him to a great relationship with the Steamboat Magazine and has spent the last ten years as their senior staff photographer creating numerous covers, feature stories and advertising pieces. He collaborates with several marketing agencies and has worked with Hart Skis, Sothebys International, Wyndham Resorts, Colorado Mountain College, Golite, Big Agnes, Freeskier Magazine, Smartwool, The Porches, Saddleback Ranch, Baja Life Magazine, Skitown U.S.A.® Magazine, Playa Escondida, Haramara Retreat, Aqua Vita Spas and the Steamboat Springs Chamber.

Corey is thankful to be blessed with a career that allows him to expand his creative vision and share it with the world. He can now be found in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah with his wife, many gear bags, and a great desire for photographing the action, lifestyles and landscapes that make up his new territory.
